Dear Murtaza         Your query is not clear, on what base you laid cement sand mix 1;4 write in detail. In my view you laid cement sand mix 1;4 on brick tile terracing and which shows cracks on top, if this the position than do not worry , if the mix is thin than it will  remain long time and if it is thick than it will be break after some time.   But if tile joints are filled properly than there .

Vitrified Flooring FloorBase on RCC Slabs

Dear Rajesh      Lay the tiles with cement mortar 1;3 ratio, care should be taken that the brick ballast laid should not dry, it should be wet. If there are more gaps in the brick ballast than lay 20mm cement concrete 1;2;4 ratio on brick ballast to give proper level to tiles. See the article about tiles and laying method.  http://www.gharexpert.com/articles/Tile-Flooring-1524/Tile-Flooring,-de.

Dear Singh       The best way to get maximum price is to contact 3 to 4 contractor who are doing this type of job and take quotations from them and give the work. The size 35x40 serves no purpose because the construction type i.e. RCC roof or iron girder and batten roof , condition of building etc many things are consideration in cost..

Consequences of not marking Layout of building before starting construction work
Posted in :Construction Stories by : S L Gupta on Monday, August 31,2009
Here I am highlighting one glaring incident that took place due to not marking “LAYOUT” of building properly before starting construction work. All this happened due to ignorance, negligence and desire to save money by not marking centre line, base line etc.
