Absence of Plinth Beam

Hi,I am constructing a G+VI residential building. My engineer has provided the structural drawing which has a raised plinth (around 1m above ground level) and Deep Pile Foundation. There is only one beam, that is above the Pile-Caps. Above those tie-beams, the columns goes upto a height of around 4.5 metres till the beams of the ground floor floor roof. The height of the ground floor is 3 m, and 1.

Minimum thickness of Pile Caps

How much can be the minimum thickness of Pile Caps? The pile diameter is 450 mm. There are is a 3-pile pile caps and 4-pile pile caps. What can happen if the depth is reduced further ? .
