| Review of Floor Plan - as per vastu
Hello GharExpert,
I have a plot and wish to construct my house as per vastu.
Please check the attached floor design and guide me.
Please help me with floor plan as per vastu.

Drainage water should not be stored at North east. Connecting chamber is fine. Water flow from south to north and west to east is good. |

|  | Question clarification by SL on Wed Sep 09, 2009 3:08 PM | | | I forgot to clarify this one point. The main drainage chamber in the site which connects to the drainage canal which is outside the compound seems to be in the center on the east side. Do we have to move it to the north east corner of the compound wall? so that the waste from the house flows from south to north (kitchen and utility area) and from west to east (bathroom located in north-west corner).

New layout has rectified the north east corner but the entry from little inside makes it some part missing. Staricase should not come to centre part of the house or you can make a wooden staircase falling in the centre area Best wishes |

Your layout shows missing corner at north east, which falls in major vastu defect as per vastu.
Kitchen at south east a perfect placement. Sink should be placed on north or east level. Cooking range at south east corner & person should face east while cooking
Pooja room is placed correectly
Bath room pot should be facing north or south
At first floor, make sure that person sleeping should not have head exact above the cooking gas.
Balcony projection is correct.
Provide bigger windows at north side.
House is more close to vastu and can bring more success, good health and harmony to the family members.
