Hello Mr Duraiswamy

When a plot is present at the end of a road there is no boundary wall present. The road has a smoother surface and carries air currents faster. If there are surroundings like hills, vegetation etc at the sides, the flow of air current is slowed down. If however on a high intensity road no undulation is present , the entire force enters a building. This kind of a situation is called cul-de-sac. 
All Cul-De-Sac's are not bad. There are good and bad ones. Attached is an example of Cul-De-Sac
