However it is my opinion that it would be better to buy a standalone oven as these are prone to maintenance and replacement over a period. Such concealed mounting would look great, but can have hassles of removal in case of maintenance, to find replacement of same type/size etc..

No doubt the arch design is good, however I am not sure how practical it would be for India as such houses are made for European kind which doesn't have boundary walls etc . |

In my experience an electric chimney (60cm width) directly over the cooking hob is the best as compared to the extract fan. Earlier I used to have an extract fan & over the period the wall and the fan used to get extremely oily which is difficult to clean.
