Shuttering Material for roof slab

Commonly wooden planks/steel sheets are used for roof slab shuttering. However this always doesn't give a good finish and also needs plastering, which causes further problem of chipping away in a few years. An other alternative is to use Film faced plywood material, which would give an excellent finish and if done well the plastering could be even avoided and just a suitable painting could be appli.

Location of Septic tank

I've a south facing plot and the practical place for construction of Septic tank is on the SW or south side considering connection to future sewage pipeline or bowsering. Please let me know if it is ok to have this in this location in terms of Vasthu. I have a small lane on the East side but, I would like to locate the underground sump in this SE corner, hence not suited for Septic tank.

Dear Mr. Gupta I am happy to see your valuable inputs to various questions posted. I am planning to construct an independant house (G+1) total area about 2400sqft. I feel if I adopt framed concrete frame structure with partition walls in single brick (4.5") I would save space as against 9" load bearing brick walls. How would be the cost comparison be approximately. If I adopt framed structure can.

Dear Mr.S.L Gupta, I am currently constructing a house. Marble has b

Anurag,I guess your concern is to protect the marble floor as well against possible damages due to ladder, scaffold etc. Usually it is better too apply a layer of plaster of paris over the marble floor so that it protects against any damages. Cover the sharp objects such as ladder feet etc with a rubber sheet or thick cloth to protect against damage to the floor. The plaster of paris could be late.

False ceiling

For my proposed home in Chennai instead of traditional plastering of the ceiling slab, I am planning to cover this with gypsum board false ceiling for all rooms except bathroom which would be in aluminium false ceiling. The walls also would be plastered only to a height of  6 inches above the proposed false ceiling level (about 8 feet). The cost saved on plastering and painting could help me in us.

HOW TO DO THIS WALL

Nowadays you can complete the basic plastering and you can use artificial tiles of your choice which would provide you the exact look of a brick wall, with much better finish which has a variety of choice in the market. Just take a look at the samples I've attached. The cheapest method is as suggested by the other respondent, but getting a good finish may be an issue, unless you use wire cut bri.
