RCC pillar

Hello Experts,Could anyone shed your comments on this fact.  The fact of the matter is that, I have seen constructions where brick walls are first laid with gap for rcc pillars.  When the rcc pillars are erected the concrete covers some part of the brick wall also thus the rcc pillar and brick wall become one.I know this procedure saves shuttering at two sides because of the brick wall and also th.

Brick or ACC block

Hello Friends,Could anyone provide advice on the use of ACC blocks as against bricks.  Can ACC blocks be used for load bearing walls?  I know they are light and cheaper than bricks and faster to build a wall.Any information is most welcome.Thanks in advance.Gerard.

Driveway Reconcreting

Hello Friends,My driveway concrete has cracked at some places.  The driveway is used by cars and not trucks.I was told that the steel used was 5mm bars which is not able to support the load of the traffic.Can fresh concrete be laid on top of the original with ticker steel bars? Or I have to remove the old concrete before laying fresh concrete?Please give suggestions.Thanking you,Peter.

RCC foundation instead of brick foundation

Hi Friends,  I want to build a 2nd garage.  The current garage has a brick foundation 75cm deep below ground level.  It is a step foundation almost as given in GharExpert for(9" thick brick wall load bearing foundation).The garage has a single brick wall (9") with corrugated steel sheet as roof.I do not want to use brick foundation for the 2nd garage. Instead I would like to use RCC beams as found.
