How to design columns

.I want to build this unit with a slab roof 4-5" thick. It has open space on left side with columns only. How thick columns need to be and how far apart so the roof does not collapse? .

Will this roof fail?

I have to build a room that is 15' wide and 8' high from floor to ceiling. It is an L shaped concrete building with the outside wall length of 35' on both sides. I need to build it with a slab roof about 4-5" thick perhaps. Is it possible to place just columns on the corners only and not within perceivable space to support the slab roof and what would the column dimensions be ?[IMG]http://i1151.ph.
