Filter Sand

Hello Everyone,We are going to start our house construction from next week.We bought a 2 big trucks sand, but later we got to know that that it is "Filter Sand".how good is this filter sand ? is there any problems ?We bought this sand for columns and roof, now we are bit worried.can anyone please help me how do we manage with this, is there any alternative ? or could we mix anything to it ?Thanks .
