What are the important steps of maintenance after installation of blended marble vinyl flooring? | | | | Untitled Page | | The important steps of maintenance after installation of blended marble vinyl flooring are following.: | | | Step-1 Immediately after installation: | | | As soon as installation is complete, wipe the flooring throughly with a wet cleaning instrument. | | | It is advisable to apply liquid emulsion polish within 48 hours to protect the surface. | | | Avoid washing the floor with water directly after installation for 14 days. | | | Step-2 Day-to-day Maintenance | | | Wipe off dust and dirt with a wet cleaning instrument. | | | Step-3 Weekly/Fortnightly Maintenance | | | The floor should be washed with soap water after every week or at least after every fortnight. | | | Then wipe with a damp cloth or another instrument with clean water. | | | Detergents and harsh cleaning agents should be avoided. | | | Soft soaps will give best results. | | | For hard to remove marks, scrub gently with a soft fiber brush or fine steel wool soaked in water. | | | Never use dry steel wool. | | | For a bright new look, a thin coat/ layer of white wax polish may be applied about once a month. | | | | | | | | | | |
