Which are various sources of entrance for termites in a building?

Various sources of entrance for termites in a building are following:

1.The timber buried in ground.

2.The means of mud shelter tubes constructed over unprotected foundations.

Entrance for termites:

Termites advance upwards along the side of the walls of the building.

They may also enter through cracks.

Once termites find a hold in or near the building, they start spreading very fast and damage the household articles like furniture , clothing and stationery etc.
