Yes, the shape of a plot really affects the prosperity it would be generating.
So before choosing your plot check out the following to derive the best benefits from your plot. Plot shapes that prove auspicious are square, rectangular (in the ratio 1:2 & all sides at 90 degrees), Circular (only if the construction is also circular), Gomukhi or Cow shaped that are narrow from front & broad from back prove very auspicious for residential purposes. Shermukhi or lion faced which are broad from front & narrow from back prove very beneficial for commercial purposes. Hexagonal plots are considered good.
The plot shapes that are absolute No-No are that of semicircle, Cart Shaped, star shaped, L- shaped & any other irregular shape. These plots should be avoided.
So, as real estate is booming, boom your luck as well by investing into the appropriate shaped plot for success & prosperity in life throughout. Don’t get into the trap of choosing irregular plots for less money, it could prove really harmful later.

In such a case the Northeast is at 90 degree but the Southwest has an acute angle formation. Such a plot will not yield good results either for residential or commercial purpose. Another point worth mentioning is that in a lion faced plot though it is recommended for commercial use it depends largely on where the entrance is from and whether the extension is in the Northeast or the southwest.thanks |

Rectangular and square shape plots are good for residence as per vastu. Gaumukhi plot is also considerable for residence. Irregular shape plot is not good for residence. If you want to build a house at such plot, make this plot square or rectangular after that build the house. This is the solution for irregular shaped plot.

Left side (S-E) is 30 meters long/depth. Right side(N-S) has two sides long one 23.92 meters and short one is 7.8 meters having more than 130 degree angle between the two lines.
