As per your question there may be one or two storeys above your flat. The leakage in your flat may be due to the following reasons:

  1. Leakage due to bathroom.
  2. Leakage due to Kitchen.
  3. Leakage due to joints of rainy water pipe.

If the leakage/dampness is continuous, this may be from bathroom or kitchen. It is not possible to stop this type of leakage without the help/co-operation of the residents of upper storey.
If the leakage continues, dampness will damage the building and it will also be harmful to the residents of upper storey. So it is in favor of the residents of the upper storey to co-operate with the residents below in repair of the leakage.
If you have got the consent from the upper storey owner to stop the leakage, give us the details of the leakage where it comes from. Here we will provide you solution to your problem.
If the leakage/dampness is during rainy season only, it may be due to leakage in the joints of rainy water pipe. If it’s so, share the problem and fix it with our Experts’ Advice.
