hello,

I think u should go for different colour schemes for different spaces yet in harmony so as you won't find urself lost and bored there..

Every space has its own and distinct function so try to bring that difference in the environment....yet the spaces are interlinked so create harmony with colours so that no space comes abruptly in the eyes...

u can try darker shades on shorter walls with some texture finishes in living room area to make the space interesting...

In kitchen go for lighter shades..if u r of artistic nature can add paintings, plants pots etc in kitchen to make it lively but i suggest u to not going for darker shades in kitchen preferably cream shades(cream go well with choaclate and browns).....

If possible send images

hello,

as per the design goes you have done what you suppose is good designs vary from taste to taste it is a personal liking so is with the colors.

but I can suggest light colors are best for kitchen as well as living spaces.

also you should go for different colors for the two.

for kitchen you may go for sand strom colors by asian paints premium emulsions.

or spring hues by same asian paints premium satin

for living you may go for royale play the ones saif ali features in.

the company may vary as per your trust level I just suggested the name asian paints as I am aware of the actual name of the colors you may get a shade card of asian paints and see the colors and go in for any company.

Dear CJ,
You have provided great details about your space and by reading through it I can imagine how much thought has gone into it. I can assure you that once you finish the design and start using it, you are going to love it :)

I am curious about your place and was wondering if you could upload some pictures of it, I would love to see the design of your flooring too. I can imagine the kitchen cabinets from Krafsmaid and I am pretty confident that they would look great with a lighter color in the backdrop. I am a great fan of golden yellow finish on one wall and a light color on other three, it is also recommended by Vastu too so you would be good from that end too but if you upload some pictures then I could think of more ideas to go with it.

Thanks
