Hello Mr.Gomsi,

First of all we at GharExpert.com congratulate you for your new home.
According to your question you want to shift in your newly constructed home as early as possible. There are some steps which needs your attention and care, which will helps you smoothly completion of construction and shifting process of your home and it will save both your time and money. So here are the useful tips:-

  1. POP and painting work: - As per specification painting work should be done after six month of completion of cement plaster. If painting is done earlier then painting surface will be spoiled. But as per your requirement you want to paint early then you should give a coat of alkali resistant priming paint on the surface and allow drying for at least 48 hours before painting job is started. By doing this the surface of painting will not spoiled.
  2. Start wiring simultaneously and fix all the switches, sheets and all other electrical items before final coat of painting. If these items are done after painting, these will spoil painting surface by touching the tools, ladders and dirty hands and delay in shifting in the house.
  3. Floor should be finished including polishing before final coat of painting. If this is done simultaneously then it will save time and prevented any blot on the painting surface.
  4. Doors and windows and their fittings should be fixed and they are also finished with the painting along the painting of the walls.
  5. Bathroom and kitchen accessories are also to be fitted simultaneously to save the time and avoid delay in shifting.

That is all you need to know for now.Let me know if you have any doubt or query. We are always here to help you.

Thanks
