 Topic: I want to paint new constructed house. So pl. suggest me which is suitable for E
I want to paint new constructed house. So pl. suggest me which is suitable for Exteriror, Birla cement was, cement paint or Asian brand Wall Primer. is there a need of Exterior Emulsion after cement paint or not. Is cement paint suitable for internal walls also and after cement paint which Interior Emulsion is suitable. Please e-mail early as I want to start painting work early. work e

Dear Nisha,

You want to paint new constructed house so please allow newly plastered surface to mature for six months i.e. Newly plastered surface should be allowed to mature for a period of at least six months prior to painting work. If you want to start painting before six months, a coat of alkali resistant priming paint should be done. You can take help for painting with the article as link given below

                               As enquired by you, you should either paint the exterior surface with cement paint or with exterior paint. After cement painting the exterior paint will not give good result. Cement paint is not suitable for internal walls. After cement paint it is not possible to paint interior emulsion paint.
