 Topic: What are requirements of drainage and sanitation for dwelling area covered with individual?
Dear sir, We have constructed recently a single story building, during construction our civil contractor has not properly executed the bath room & toilet. Due to this in first floor toilet we have found water leak from the closet (Indian) outlet of the sewer line pipe external surface and seepage. During construction drain outlet pipe arrangement is not made by civil contractor. Now we want to solve this problem. How can install the drain outlet pipe in the building and damp proofing without disturbing the occupants. We request you to provide suggestion, and installation procedure with drawing for drain outlet pipe. According your valuable suggestion, we can implement to install the drain outlet pipe. my house is located in trichy, tamilnadu.

Dear GS ranjan

              This is very serious problem can damage the structure of the house. you should arrange any civil engineer from your area or any good plumber, who can guide you after inspecting the site.

Dear All, I have seen lot of toilets and bathrooms in India.Probably i didnot find any toilet which was soundproof !Is there any particular design? (2)Is there any toilet design where patients can easily use. I expect no difference in floor level between living room and toilet . (3)Is there any self contained room designed for elderly people? Thanks in advance.

Dear B.Murlidharan, A toilet can be made soundproof, A toilet for patient or elderly person can be designed if especially required ..
