 Topic: Please suggest a technical advice. 1) Rectangular Site 924 Square Yards(160 * 52
Please suggest a technical advice. 1) Rectangular Site 924 Square Yards(160 * 52). The 52 feet is east facing.2) Currently have an old house on the east end built on 500 Sq yards and the west end 400 Sq yards is emptyI want to start the construction from the west end with basement parking and then build a small house on that at ground floor level. Once moved to that then start the foundation/basement from east end. My question is whether the two foundations/basements can be joined for building five floors on top jointly and if joint foundation can sustain the overall 6 floors building at the end.

              You want to construct 5-6 story building. In my view you should consult structural engineer with the new plan and old plan and take the earth quake proof design.

Join date: May 2014		I don't think it is possible. But consult with a structural engineer.
