GI Pipes or PVC PP- pipes for home plumbing

Kindly advice me which pipe is good for home plumbing GI(Jindal) or Plastic pipes (Indo Green PP-R hot & cold water from Supreme Co.). I read about the PP-R plastic pipes co. claim its life is more than 50 years and GI pipe life is only 20-30 years. Kindly advice me which pipe should I use. Regards, Narender.
