I visited the modular kitchen and they told don't put the kitchen granite until they finish the cabinets. Once finished you could put 20 mm slabs on its top unlike 40 mm we used to put normally. My question1. 20 mm slabs are porous as we put for floors how can it be put for kitchen slabs where water will always be there. There is 40 mm black /green one which is available which we use as counter to.

Need your guidance

Hi My site is 1ft slope from the road side, and it is dead end plot and small kaluve (small channel to get rain water from in front of the house) that coming in front of my house also ends at my plot. If the rain comes there is no way the water can go ,and it can get into the compound of my house. I am anyway raising the house by 4 feet from the road so that water won;t get into the house.

concrete slabs or wooden slabs for wardrobe

I Got a suggestion to go for granite in the range for 80Rs/Sqft wo kitchen wardrobe as it is cheaper than concrete one. Just mason need to raise the brick walls at various level and just put these granite slabs on that at every 3 feet etc. This is econonomical as cement concrete would be costly as there is barbending+centering+gangamen+finishing+material charges will add to it..
