Ferrocement panel as flat roof ( mezzanine floor)

Hello, I am planning to build a traditional house in Kerala. I am thinking of using ferrocement panels for flat roof and woodden truss on top of that. This is to reduce the heat during hot & humid climate. I am planning for single storeyed house. Would you please help if ferrocement panel is strong enough ?. Do you suggest it. ? Can ferrocement panel roof also be used as upper level floor ( p.
