New York Builders Receive Awards for Saving Energy; will India be next?

We wish they would do that in India too, that is recognize the efforts of companies working towards energy efficient techniques that would not only encourage others to follow that path but would also create awareness among the public. It is a market driven economy and sooner the end users recognize and appreciate such efforts, sooner the corporate world would work towards these initiatives.

It is a chicken and an egg situation but the onus would remain on the government and the leading corporate to show us the path,  Just to give you background of the scoop, the New York State Building Association recently honored four builders in the New York ENERGY STAR Homes program for their achievements within the program. These homes use approximately 30% less energy than conventionally built new homes. I think I could use that saving ?  Enjoy
