 Topic: Help on Staircase and Elevator design
Dear Experts,

We are planning to construct our house on 36'*42' plot (36' towards road and 42' depth). And thinking of having an elevator of small size(2 people). Each floor height is 10'. Draft of ground floor house plan is attached here. Staircase is planned towards road side in that plan. We want to continue with that but with a change of dimensions for accommodating elevator.

We are Ok with having an elevator at landing area of staircase OR staircase around an elevator. 

What are the ideal dimensions required for both these options with small elevator?

     It is better to contact any structural engineer for design.
