|  Topic: Marriage Hall Construction
fDear Sir / madam,
This is Baskaran. I am
planning to buy a land and build a marriage hall in Chennai.
The
land that I planning to buy is only around 4100 sqft. How much sqft of
built up area that I can build in the land? The land is on a 40 feet
road.
What kind of approvals that I need to get for the marriage
hall construction? I think the land is in the middle of residential
area. Do I need to get no objection certificates from the neighbours?
Is
building plan approval more than enough? Or do I need to register this
as a commercial establishment in some Government Office?
Is it
advisable to put a news paper advertisement to express my inetntion to
build a marriage hall in he address specified and seek any objections if
any for the marriage hall construction? Will this be a safeguard for
future objectsions from the neighbouring residential apartments?
What
will be the construction cost per square feet for the marriage hall?
I
kindly request yuo to let me know as I do not know anything about this.
