 Topic: Regarding POP

There are various brands of POP in the market like JK Birla , Adarshri etc

So it create a lot of confusion in my mind . Please suggest any brand or 

comparsion of these brands.

Join date: Apr 2015		The POP brand are mainly in two categories :

1. Birla, Sakarni etc.These cost between 150 - 200 per bag.
2. Locally Packed : 100-120 per bag.

As labour cost is higher in POP than raw material cost you can 
use any decent brand available near your site. 
But you need to ensure that the POP is done properly on a rough base wall
and the finish and thickness of POP is uniform. The Painter will make a 
putty base layer on this POP.

What should be recommended thickness of POP 
in plus minus designs and in false ceiling on concrete smooth surface(iron shuttering).
is it necessary to   make a 
putty base layer on this POP?

      The ideal thickness of POP IS 6MM to10mm but in case of any design it may be 20mm to 25 mm. Care should be taken that thickness  of POP should be in 2 coats when exceeds from 12mm.
