 Topic: Trusting the quote of a contractor?
Hi. Nice to find this website. I'm planning to construct two more floors over my ground-floor house, and since I'd be in office most of the day, being unable to personally supervise the construction of the house, I would like to know:
1. How to choose a contractor who would be reliable (and what questions to ask, to figure out if he's reliable)
2. There's a contractor who quoted Rs.1600 per sq feet inclusive of wood-work (he's said to do his work very well) and another contractor who quoted Rs.1200 per sq feet exclusive of wood-work (this guy is said to be trustworthy). How can there be so much of a difference in the pricing? Any precautions?

       The cost of construction is depend upon the plan of the house and specification used in the house. If you have structural drawing, than contractor use MS steel according to drawing but if drawing is not prepared than he can use steel as his own and use less steel to save cost.
 If you want proper detail than take the service of detail estimate as given below.
