VASTU FOR APARTMENTS
It is generally seen that the apartments do
not comply with the vastu norms. Due to which the inmates suffer on various
counts. Though not much can be done to improve the layout design or make major
structural alterations, certain cosmetic alterations within the house can help
decrease the vastu defects and increase the positive energy levels. Following
are a few guidelines.
1.
Your apartment should be as far
away from the main entry gate of the building or the trash dumpster.
2.
A dark entrance to your
apartment can have a negative effect on you. If your apartment does not have
enough bright light install a skylight to improve the energy levels.
3.
If you are living at the middle
floors and there are other buildings which block the sunshine during the day
time, the energy levels shall be low for such apartments. You can improve the
situation by installing bright lights inside as well as outside your flat.
4.
If you have limitation of space
arrange the furniture in such a way the chairs or any other piece of furniture
should not restrict the doorway.
5.
The doors and windows should
not be across each other. An apartment should have many windows to allow
natural sunlight but should not be across each other since the flow of energy
comes and goes out of the house.
6.
Do not clutter your rooms. As
one of the most important steps to generate and improve the positive energy
levels in a house it is very important to de clutter and keep your house clean.
Dirty rooms, messy closets, unwanted stuff lead to stuck energy levels. It is
therefore important to keep your house clean and light.
7.
An apartment should not have a
northeast cut, a toilet or kitchen in the northeast.
8.
Location of main door also
plays a very important role. If the main entry door is located i a wrong
direction it is very important to seek professional help.
9.
If there are balconies in the
South/Southwest the same should be covered or weighed down y placing heavy
concrete pots with planters. Do not place any water element in South/Southwest.
10.
If there is a sitout in the
North/Northeast do not close or place heavy items in the area.
There are a number of aspects which are
taken into consideration while doing an analysis of a house or building. A
