How long we should not remove the shuttering

I am currently constructing a house with RCC Roof Lanter area 3600 sqft.  I am done with almost everything , my only query is for how long we should not remove the shuttering of this RCC Roof Lanter, as some guys who came from Tata Steel said I should keep it for abt 21 days after pouring RCC mix on the lanter. Please advise . Awaiting your quick reply as I am planning for lanter this week itself..
