I was told that more the ceiling height cooler will be the temperature. Is it true?

Hi,
Average roof height would be between 10 feet to 11 Feet. If roof height crosses 11 feet you will not get Fan Air.Same problem I am facing now. Even I kept long extended rod for a fan not getting Air. | | |

You may have double height i.e. around 18 ft in the living room area to give your house palacial look. Rest of the rooms can be normal height. For cooling, you will have to extend the fan rods by 7-8 ft as was done in the colonial period. The room will naturally remain cool if you have big windows and ventilators in that room.If this room is in the east then provide windows on the east and west walls and see the briliant cross ventilation...
