Join date: Feb 2008 | Hi Arun, False ceiling charges can have multiple components and it is a lot dependent on the design of the ceiling. Usually the height is not an issue in costing so if the false ceiling covers complete roof then it would be L * B * Rate but this is not the case in most of the designs.
Most designs have coves or multiple levels (steps) in the ceiling. In such case, there is an additional area that has to be covered with the POP material.
It is a good idea to get the ceiling drawing done and then get a quote from the contractor so that you know exactly how the dimension would be measured and what would be the total cost.

What you meant by multiple levels? Is it kind of dropped sealing? If a false sealing is kind of box, what will be charged measurement?
