|  Topic: OVERHEAD WATER STORAGE TANK
Which material is best for overhead water storage tank. "PlasticTank" (ready made tank) or "cement concrete tank" (made on roof-top) or "Brick Wall Tank". please give comparison.

A good quality PVC TANK 3 or 4 layer white in color is better than the other tank as low in cost, easy to arrange and easy in cleaning etc. | | |

for small capacities PVC tank is okfor large capacities better to go for brick masonry tanks. concrete tank is costlier. | | |

In my view white color 4 layer PVC tank have less problem of hot water, you may wrap insulation material around the tank and put insulated cover on top.
As for smell, if water is not changed frequently than you face this problem in both type of tanks. | | |
