Join date: Mar 2008 | Dear Anu If you planning kota stone roofing with Iron girder or T- iron. OR You are planning laying kota stone on RCC roof for terrace finish.Brick Tile Terracing is good over Kota stone flooring at terrace due to unnecessary load to the roof, Joints of Kota stone expand on heat during summer season causes leakage and for making proper slab is difficult in stone.

Join date: Mar 2008 | Dear Anu If you are not interested in laying brick tiles on roof and want to lay kota stone than follow the procedure. Paint the roof with bitumen and stick a polythene sheet on bitumen. Lay concrete and make proper slope for water drainage. Than lay kota stone but left 15mm to 25 mm joint in two piece of kota stone and fill the joint with cement and marble chips mix and grind after curing. In this way joint crack problem not exist.
