Topic: vatu tips for terrace garden

i am going through some major renovation at my house and planning to build a terrace garden on my first floor. following vastu, i have only 1 room in the south west direction on 1st floor, an overhead tank and some terrace area of about 22ft x 40 ft. rest of my 1st floor is open space. total dimensions of first floor are 50ft x 60ft.

the best location as per space comes out to be the north east corner or the north west corner. kindly guide with vastu accordingly. the south west corner of the house is tallest/heaviest with one extra floor and an overhead concrete tank. north east is completely empty with a guest room on ground floor. north west is also empty with a main bedroom below on ground floor.

although a small garden is planned on north east corner of ground floor.

ramu771964 Join date: Apr 2010	Post subject: Suggestion - from V.Ramakrishna, Vastu consultan... It is not good to put on more weights on the North-East side of your House even it is 1st. Floor, So Plan your Garden towards West side (Leave atleast 15 ft x 15 ft.) at North-East side. When you plan Garden at North-west side, Leave atleast 5 Feet from North wall and place garden from that point towards south and Touching west Wall. V.Ramakrishna, vanapalli77@gmail.com

Robert Monroe Join date: Dec 2011	I actually have a garden on my terrace as well though nothing really serious. And because there are not much space in it, I mostly placed them hanging. With some few supposed land ones which I tapped to be hanged as well. They have all been looking great though they make for harder maintenance and gardening which has usually been just by your level or even something lower.
