Low cost roofing solution over a slanting slab for internal cooling

 Topic: Low cost roofing solution over a slanting slab for internal cooling
Could anybody suggest a solution ....??? I have bungalow in Goa and it has a sloping roof slab[inverted "V" shape] which is directly exposed to hot sun. Due to this inside rooms don't remain cool even in a moderate winter season. To overcome this I am planning to use additional  roofing of some material which could be cost effective. Kindly suggest the remedy...

          Thermal insulation is a method to reduce the transfer of heat from outside to inside. To make house heat proof, thermal insulation is a good choice. An insulated home is more comfortable as the temperature remains consistent over weather changes. It makes the house comfortable and keeps the temperature of   house cool in summers and warm in winters. It is very useful to keep the temperature of the house independent from outside temperature.See the link below for more information about thermal insulation.

The idea is to fix high quality marine ply of say 1 " thickness over the "inverted V" slab and thereon screw  the normal TATA roofing sheet in GI.. along with the GI ridge. What will happen is , as the wood is bad conductor of heat, it will act as the insulation between the slab and the GI sheets. Sir, kindly go through this idea and let me know  your opinion. thanks.....
