|  Topic: Slab cost
I have to build a 1st floor which would be an area of 1350 sq/feet. Need to know how much would it cost in total and only for the slab structure. Also, any idea about the prevalent labor charges only for the slab[only for the centering portion of it].
I hope Gupta sir would be able to look into it at the earliest

The cost of construction of building is related to plan of the building, specification used in the building and lobcation of the area where building is to be constructed. Similarly labor rates also differ. However The labor rate of laying RCC slab including higher charges of centering and shuttering is Rs100-00 cft i.e.length of slab x width of slab x thickness of slab= cft OR Rs 33-00 per sft i.e.length of slab x width of slab. | | |

Its going to be a 1350 sqft rectangular area with 5 inch slab as instructed by structural designer. But have issues getting to know the cost as different contractors quoting different price. The ground floor is already constructed so plinth and footing is excluded. Construction is to be done in Pune.
