  Ceramic floors are extremely strong. They have a breaking strength of about 350-400 kg/cm2. 



• Stain free:

  Ceramic floors are easiest to clean. They are stain free. They are acid and alkali resistant. 



• Scratch resistance:

  These tiles have a very high scratch resistance and their hardness is about 6-7 on Moh's scale (A measure of a mineral hardness and its resistance to scratching). 



• Light weight:

  Ceramic floors are just 7.5mm thick. This requires a thinner floor sheet than that of mosaic/marble flooring.



• Easy washing:

  Ceramic floors have very low water absorption and are very easy to clean. These floors being electro statically neutral do not attract dust. 



• Bacteria free:

  Ceramic floors are bacteria free since no bacteria can grow on them. This is excellent flooring for hospitals, operation theaters, industrial kitchens, deep freezing go-downs etc. 



• Insulation:

  Ceramic tiles are very good insulators. Moreover specific heat is about 0.12 which improves efficiency of air-conditioning. 



• Fire proof:

  Ceramic tiles are fired at 1900C and are completely fireproof. 



• Acoustics:

  These tiles have a very high sound factor which helps in elimination of echoes-ideally for auditoriums and big halls. 



• Easy lying:

  These tiles are easy to lay and ready for live-in use within 48 hours after lying. These are available in various shades. 



• Anti-slip:

  Unlike white glazed tiles, ceramic floor tiles are salt glazed and are anti-slip and non-skid.
