Dear Mr.S.L Gupta, I am currently constructing a house. Marble has been laid recently and False filing work is going on. My main query is After this job how should I proceed ? As granite staircase work, facade, bathrooms and kitchen tile work, gates grills and wood work, wall putty, electrical wiring are still pending. Please do answer my query.I look forward to hear from you soon.Thanks,Anurag. |

First of all you should do electric wiring so that if any problem come can be rectified at once before the finishing items.
After that flooring, wood work, grill work taken in hand.
Wall putty and painting is last items.

Anurag,I guess your concern is to protect the marble floor as well against possible damages due to ladder, scaffold etc. Usually it is better too apply a layer of plaster of paris over the marble floor so that it protects against any damages. Cover the sharp objects such as ladder feet etc with a rubber sheet or thick cloth to protect against damage to the floor.
The plaster of paris could be later removed by easily tapping off and also a mild polish after this.
With regard to the sequence of work I agree with Mr. Gupta's suggestions. | | |
