What is the Difference between Mortar and Masonary Plastering and which is best, quality and costwise..

S L Gupta (Civil Engg) Join date: Mar 2008	Dear sunny The mixture of cement and sand in any ratio is called cement mortar. cement mortar varries according to the ratio i.e. 1 part of cement with 4 parts of sand is known as 1;4 similarally ratio is 1;2, 1;3 so on. There is no differance in cement mortar of masonary or plaster. It has differance in ratio.
