For obtaining this type of finishing there are some steps to be followed.
1. Apply priming coat.
2. Apply putty i.e filling coat on the surface.
3. Grind the surface with sand paper.
4 Do 2nd coat of filling and final grinding with smooth sand paper.
5 Apply the painting 1st coat with spray than 2nd and if required 3rd coat.

Mr. Lohit.
To achieve the same finish u have to apply at least 3 coats of good quality automotive paint with spray. U can also get the same finish on POP ceiling also. The thickness of MDF board should be not less then 12mm. after complete making of the ceiling with MDF/POP the painting process should be as following.
1. Apply Surfacer Primer on the ceiling and allow it to dry for at least 6 hours. 2. Apply good quality putty (better if u use N.C. Putty for MDF board) and allow the surface to become dry for overnight. 3. Sand the surface evenly with 120 no. sand paper. 4. Re-apply putty and follow the same process again till u achieve the desired smooth finish. the final sanding must be done with 320 no. sand paper. 5. Apply one coat of same quality sealer as u are going for the quality of paint. allow it to dry for 24 hours. Now the surface is ready for painting. Apply three oats of the desired color to achieve the same finish.

Can i get the same finishing if done on the gypsum ceiling?which one is better pop or gypsum ceiling?Also can u tell me wat are those doom shape hangings on the ceiling in the picture...In my living room 2 opposite walls are of violet colour the other 2 opposite walls are of lighter shades,i m thinking of silky white colour or silver for that kind of glossy ceiling,will it look good?which colour do u prefer?

You can get the same finishing on the gypsum. Gypsum ceiling is better than POP.Hanging on the ceiling are lights.For shade and color of ceiling you may go ahead with your liking. | | |
