hi mohan,
south facing house in period 8 is actually a big no because you may make money but you may loose on health and vice versa. be careful when you plan building a property.it can either help you to become very prosperous if you are wise and smart or you will end up with a house that destroys your good fortune

If you have no choice and this is the only parcel of land in your hand.
Move the South-West corner room forward (South). Move the South-East corner room backward (North). This will leave you gap between South-West and South-East. Put a Door-way coming in from the EAST.(Sunrise from the east) entering the South-West corner room.
We have a driveway in South-East. So the walkway had to come out South, but the two or three steps leading up is from the EAST.
We have Living Room in the South-West corner usually reserved for Master Bedroom. But upstair we do have Master Bedroom in South-West corner.
One of the Master Bedroom is in North-East corner usually a reserved for Living Room.
I go Kitchen in right place South-East.

Join date: Apr 2008 | There is also a myth related South direction. In Vastu South is the direction of “Yam” the god of death. So mostly people try to avoid South direction but this direction is ruled by planet Mars, which gives courage and energy to work. If Mars is well placed in natal chart, one can happily stay in a south facing home.

Hi,
I would like to add a little opinion, In this year 2008 the south and North should not be disturbed by renovations or digging. So it is better to postpone it to next year. The south is the position of the Grand Duke in Feng shui, The 5 yellow star of misfortune is in South along with the 3 killings (san sha). The position of Sui po is in North, so both South and north should not be disturbed this year 2008 otherwise it brings in misfortune. Better postpone it and check out with feng shui the best direction to start the construction. The best method is start from a direction where the dominant star or good stars are located.

Hi,
I am planning to buy a house where the main door opens facing South. Oppsite the main door is a balcony which opens to a vast pen land. To the east is a full wall and the entire house (3 bedrooms and kitchen) are to the west. Is it ok to buy this house? Please tell me what will be the effects of this house. I have a small baby. | | |

Hi, The property is facing North & we have our driveway in NE corner...there are three buildings & I run a preschool in them...the first building is my office where everyone enters thru a door in NE corner... recently I made a seperate door facing south parking lot in the first building for children to enter conveniently...also this addition makes eight doors in this buiding...with recession things are slow...is this addition ok? | | |
