Dear All, Am looking for information on wood requirement for a 2 BHK (approximately 1400 s.ft) home am planning to build; I have enquired about the wood rates of different kinds normally used for residential homes. Would like to know the approximate CFT needed for me (2 BHK, approximately 1400 s.ft), based on which I would need to plan the kind of wood to be used (to contain the expenses within the allocated budget). Many thanks in advance.
Thanks & Regards, Mohan.

Dear All, Am looking for a information on wood requirement for a 2BHK home (approximately 1400 s.ft). I have enquired about the rates of various kinds of wood normally used for residential home construction in southern part of India and have taken quotation for the same. Now Am in a need of approximate CFT requirement for my home, so that I can decide on the kind of the wood to be used ( as I I have allocated a fixed budget for wood expenses and would like to contain the expenses within the budget allocated). Any chart or pointer to the document which talks about the wood requirement breakups like... CFT needed for 8x6 window, normal 7x3 door, regular 6x4 cot...etc., would be really of great help. Requesting you to provide me some pointers on this direction. Many thanks in advance.
Thanks & Regards, Mohan.
