 Topic: Number and position of pillars

Hello Everybody! 

Thanks for maintaining such a good site!

I am regular visitor of this site. I am constructing my house like (Basement + Ground Floor + First Floor). I have attached my Floor Plan. It would be great if you could please provide some information on below points.

  1)    What should be the actual numbers & dimension of pillars required for this plan

  2)     Whether position of pillars shown in plan are correct. If not, then what will be right position of pillars and distance between two pillars.

Please do the needful.

           The design of R C C columns, beams and slab is designed according to load bear by them taking factor of safety from earth quack, bearing capacity of soil etc in consideration. For basement and other 2 stories it is better to take design from structural engineer.
on seeing the plan the position of R C C Columns seems to be correct and size may be 9''x 18'' or 12'' x 18''.
