 Topic: pillar position & column requirement/thickness
Sir, 
We have planned a 16' x 16' hall/living at centre of the house plan. 
What should be the distance between pillars?
Is Column required in between 16' across?
What should be the size of pillars?
What should be the minimum number of pillars in the total plan?
Refer 1st floor plan for load on ground floor 16'x16' hall/living...

I've attached same plan with different pillar positions. Please guide me with correct no.of pillars & position.

        It is better if you consult any local architect/ structural engineer by showing drawing and site visit than they give better advice.
