we have extended rcc slab by 20 inches along the length of a 44 feet beam by usi

       There are two option. One is to test the slab by loading it with earth filled bags on the edge of newly laid slab. OR construction partition  of aluminum instead of brick wall.

I have seen a small project which had the slab extended by 4 feet and was taken into room space (but there was an extended beam underneath). But in my case Extension is just 20 inches, so i was thinking that i can take it into room space. What do u say sir.??

        If the slab is laid with the beam than there is no any problem. You can construct 3'' wall of brick or RCC. But keep large size window and ventilator in the wall to reduce the weight, also not put heavy items of house hold in the extending portion.
