 Topic: About column and beam structure
Gupta sir, I want to built a g+1 house with an area of  1684 so ft. 
What will be the size of the column and beam of the structure? Can I use 8x10 inch column?   What will be the diameter of bars to be used in beam n col. 
In the roof, what is the diameter of the bars used for steel mesh. Plz suggest.

        The numbers and size of columns/ pillars depends on the plan of the building  not on area of building. The size and numbers rods and size of columns are calculated on the basis of load coming on the column.
