Cement grade to be used for plastering.

 Topic: Cement grade to be used for plastering.
My contractor is suggesting to use PCC cement for plastering, Please advise since so far we were using 53 grade as well as 43 grade cement.
What is the difference and is it recommended ?
PCC cement is cheper too.

Hello George,

PCC means, plain  cement concrete it dosen't mean any graade. For plastering work you can use Grade 43 which is more than sufficent.
