Retaining wall - Usage of Cement Plasticisers

 Topic: Retaining wall - Usage of Cement Plasticisers
Dear All,

I am constructing a semi basement with aprox 6 feet deep basement floor level w.r.t ground level.

While preparing the retaining wall, I wnat to know what I shoudl do for waterproofing. ?

Someone suggested using cement plasticisers to mix in the cement concrete to reduce the amount of water added as this gives the same consistency and will reduce the honeycomb effect.

Is this correct. 
are there other ways for waterproofing in the basement? 

Someone also informed that the flooring in the basement must be with RCC so that grouting if required at a later stage can be done. ???

Dear George

          you can use cement plasicisers according to the direction of manufactures.
