Topic: Civil contract rate per 10'X10'

I am looking to employ a maistry to undertake the civil contracting for my one storey house in Kancheepuram Distt, TN. He is quoting 17K for erecting the civil works for each 10'X10' square. What all does such a rate usually include ? I am told it includes foundation, pillars, walls, roofing and plastering and is measured as roof slab area. Is there any catch in this? What should one look for in such a deal?

Thanks

Dear Sundra

When planning to build your dream home it may be difficult to hire a good contractor. A successful house construction depends on good contractor. Hire a best contractor otherwise, it may end up the contract before completion of work or may result a poor construction. Before hiring a contractor, do some research about the contractor; know about his skills and experience. Before hiring a contractor you should ensure several attributes in your contractor. For more details you should visit the web site wwwgharexpert.com where you will find much more about construction.
