Planning to construct a floor on our 10 year old RCC roof
house (715 sqft built up area). The house was constructed without any pillars
but a proper foundation was laid and walls have no visible cracks. The total
space available for construction is around 700 sqft.
My questions are,
1. Does the first floor plan has to be exactly same as
ground floor plan as there are no pillars?
2. Can the existing walls take the load if we have the
partition walls according to our requirements?
3. Considering that
we will be using the new terrace (it will be second floor) for placing an
overhead water tank, solar and rest of the space to host any functions, what
are the technical difficulties that we may face if we use completely a new
