Topic: problem at the site execution of the beam work

my question is that my house is built.bt there is some problem at the groundfloor slab level..starting a slab level shuttering that time beam of the slab not properly resting in column..beam size is 9"*9". center of the beam 4"1/2 is rest on the column... and column is round column..and in column use steel is 4 no 16 mm bar..and first floor thats position round column and beam perfect resting to each other..... so that is a problem..ground floor column is safe or not ??? in earthquake or any other hazards?? and its small house  20*35 ft house ...and this problem is done at the vernadah area first round column so gave me a idea...plz and lapping problem is occur at first floor..steel is use 16,10,12mm.16mm steel lap is 11 inch.10mm steel lap is 18 inch...and 12mm steel lap is 12inch..so this is problem at the occur in that site so i have been full welding all the column..and then after i fill the column..column size is 9"*9",12"*9",15"*9"..three type of column..give me a some idea so i m sure that i m a no need to tension to this subject....

 Dear Akash
In my opinion you should consult any civil engineer of your town/ city so that he will give you opinion after visiting the site of the house.

sir i was saw my house photo of my contractor...and he said me that its not dangerous bt my question is that g.f beam and round column is safe or not??? because beam resting on column center half and half is overhanging...so this is the problem..and first floor over the round beam lapping is just 11"...and beam is safely landed in column...and first floor round column lapping 11" so i done welding on each of column so this is difficulty...so give me ur opinion for seeing this picture.....

and in round column contractor use 4 no 16mm diameter so its perfect for structural aspect...and lapping is just 11" so 50*d means lapping is 800mm is occur..bt lapping is in first floor 11"..so give me ur opinion

Dear Akash
The main purpose of beam is to take load of roof and structure above the beam. Now in your case load is nominal and can be bear by 4.5'' wide beam.

Dear Akash
The lap length should be 50xd i.e. for 16 mm dia it should be 800 mm. But when you welded the bars than 11'' is also OK.
