     Where the sub soil has poor or uncertain bearing capacity or black cotton soil pile foundation is used.Pile is a column of concrete either cast in situ or driven in to the ground to transfer the load to firm strata. Piles are
1.Friction piles
2.End bearing piles
3. Batter piles
Pile foundation according to method of installation are as
Driven piles
Bored/augered piles
Screw in piles
For more detail see the literature of pile foundation.

can you explain how to use the pile foundation in closed well area im going to build G+2 Building, i asked Structural engineer he said  put the pile n well area, put i have no idea about Pile pls help me sir.
